Alan is Chairman of the Investment Committee. He is responsible for the strategic direction, business development and management of Hermes GPE. He has been an investor and manager in private equity for 24 years with experience in venture, growth and buyouts in Europe, Asia and the US. He was formerly a Group Partner at 3i for over 20 years where he held diverse responsibilities, for geographies, sectors and fund mandates.
